The
The winter sun shone on
Ross Armstrong led his club home with an incredible result, finishing in 8th place overall. Ross continues to go from strength to strength this season and is showing improvements each race. Richard Gay, Jim McGivern and Darren Williams all had to settle for second best on Sunday as Ross proved too fast for them.
Melanie Hayward led the ladies over the finishing line
despite clearly not being on top form. Carrie Millson and Clare Bracken both
had good runs and made great efforts on behalf of the Beverley ladies' team,
which is looking unbeatable. Rival teams from
Helen Storr thoroughly enjoyed her run and took advantage of the relatively flat course to clock a decent time. Jayne Dale continues to put in splendid performances and is steadily improving as the season progresses. Moira Armstrong and Juliet Molteno made contributions towards the team effort.
Tim Redman and Tony Beck appear to thrive on the cross
country terrain and are clocking some fine times. At
